The Perfect Thanksgiving Latte

Certain flavors just scream Thanksgiving, like pecans and maple. This special duo can turn ordinary sweet potatoes into something special and make some of the most scrumptious pies you could ever want. So why not use them to create a special Thanksgiving latte? It’s quite an easy recipe and your family will thank you.

How to Make Nutty Maple Pecan Latte at Home!

Start with milk and pecan butter in a saucepan. Heat them up together on about a medium to medium-high heat. Stir constantly until the butter and milk have combined and the mixture is melted and steamy.

Next brew two shots of espresso and add them to the milk mixture along with some maple syrup.

Finish up with whipped cream, chopped pecans, and maybe even a little sprinkling of cinnamon or nutmeg. Doesn’t that sound like a gorgeous Thanksgiving treat to go with your pumpkin pie? Or pecan pie? Or your chocolate meringue pie? Coffee and desserts just go together, and are perfect after a special Thanksgiving meal. But what kind of coffee works best for lattes?

Coffees for Espresso

Lattes always call for espresso shots. We have quite a few coffees that make outstanding espressos. Three we recommend are Eiland Coffee’s Espresso Delicato, Java Pura’s French Roast Brazil/Costa Rica, and Fire Grounds Coffee’s Bury Up Black. These are all a darker roast that will make a beautiful base for your latte drinks. But what if you want the pecan flavor without the stove? We have that covered, too!
